A new foundation will be made for base verification

So far 12 number of Aadhaar numbers have been issued to 117 crore people. Although the base is used to prove identity, it can not be considered as a proof of citizenship

This declaration of the authority came just 24 hours before the hearing on the basis of the Supreme Court. On Tuesday, there will be a debate on the ground that why the base is finally mandatory. Many PILs i.e. PIL have been filed in this case. Now all these petitions have been merged together and after Tuesday it will start regular review.

So far 12 number of Aadhaar numbers have been issued to 117 crore people. Although the base is used to prove identity, it can not be considered as a proof of citizenship. On the basis of the basis, people are given subsidy on LPG and government help in various schemes. The government claims that there is a saving of about 50 thousand crore in DBT so far, the direct transfer scheme started using the Aadhaar.

To get the Aadhaar numbers, people have to register finger prints i.e. finger print and color of pupils i.e. Irish. Generally wherever there is a need to prove identity through the base, fingerprints have to be given. Now the problem is that the fingerprints of people who have hard-earned difficulty get damaged. Something similar happens with the elderly. To help such people, the Authority has decided to provide face options.

The thing to note is that the identity of the identity alone will not be completed from the face alone. Here the face has to be taken together with any one of the three mediums. This means that when you show a face, it will be used either fingerprints, Irish or even the One Time Password (OTP). Only after this verification work will be done. The Authority will help in making changes in existing equipment for verification through face. Also, special equipment will be provided separately for identification of face only.

For the use of face in verification from the base, the Authority will start providing technical details from the first march. After this, this option will start using the first of July.

Identity is proven in the case of income tax returns, bank accounts, mobile connections, PDS, employees' attendance through base. So far, more than 1510 crores verification has been done.
