Vivo launches an unparalleled smartphone of its kind equipped with in-display fingerprint sensor

New Delhi: The famous Chinese smartphone maker Vivo is going to launch a smartphone on May 29. The special feature of this smartphone will be that the device has an in-display fingerprint sensor. According to industry sources, the price of this device will be less than Rs 40,000 in India and the Vievo's smartphone is likely to be named 'X21'.
The first device of the mobile industry equipped with in-display fingerprint scanning technology is X 20 Plus UD, which was reflected in the International Consumer Electronics Show (2018) in January.
"The first smartphone equipped with in-display fingerprint technology will be announced in the first half of 2018," the company said in a statement. Vievo's Senior Vice President Alex Feng said in a statement: "Vivo is ready to be a pioneer in the development of fingerprint scanning technology, with our efforts of Comprehensive Consumer Research and long-running research."
In the year 2017, the company Synaptics, which provided touch input to millions of laptop trackpads and smartphones screens, had announced that it has already started mass production of optical in-display fingerprint sensors.
