Maruti cars costlier before budget, increase prices from 1700 to 17 thousand

The company had said last month that it will raise prices of its models from January. Earlier, Tata Motors had also increased the prices of its vehicles up to Rs 25 thousand on January 01.


New Delhi : Maruti Suzuki India Ltd, the country's largest carmaker, has increased its car prices by 1700 rupees to 17 thousand rupees before the general budget. New prices will be applicable from today. At the same time, Honda Cars India has also increased the prices of many models. 

In a statement issued by Maruti Suzuki, he said that he has increased the prices of different models from 17 thousand rupees to 17 thousand rupees. He said that this increase has been done due to the increase in prices of goods and increase in administration and distribution expenditure. New prices will be applicable from today. 

The company had said last month that it will raise prices of its models from January. At the same time, Honda Cars India has announced the increase in prices of its various models by up to Rs 32 thousand due to the cost escalation.

Honda Cars spokesman said the company has increased the prices of all models since January 8. He said that on the basis of models, the price has been increased from Rs. 6 thousand to 32 thousand rupees. Although the prices of the Accord hybrid model are unchanged. 

Earlier, Tata Motors had also increased the prices of its vehicles up to Rs 25 thousand on January 01. Ford India also said that it has increased the prices of its vehicles up to four percent. Several companies like Hyundai Motor India, Mahindra & Mahindra, Skoda, Isuju and Renault have also announced increase in prices this month.
