New Delhi: Banks have started rearranging ATM machines for new bank notes of Rs 200. According to industry experts, in this process banks may have to incur a cost of Rs 100-120 crore.
There are about 2.4 lakh ATM machines in the country, of which around 30 thousand recycler machines are also included. Recycler machines are also capable of paying and depositing money. 200 rupees notes were submitted in August.
NCR Corporation India managing director Navroj Dastoor said, "We have started the process of settling ATMs. We have started the process of organizing ATMs. For this an engineer has to visit every machine. "
