Agriculture Minister Radha Mohan Singh said at the conference that the government will soon fulfill his promise to declare all notified MSP adding one and a half times the profit cost on crop prices. It is likely that before the launch season starting next month, Modi Government will declare minimum support price for all the crops including rice and pulses. Referring to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Radha Mohan Singh claimed that there is no shortage of money for the advancement of agriculture and farmers as the farmers have the first right on the state exchequer. Taking a dig at the previous UPA government, he said that only people knew the agriculture minister at the time, but now the Agriculture Minister is known to be less and more farmers know more about the agriculture ministry and its related schemes.
