India is ranked 62nd in the list of inclusive growth, behind Pakistan and China

Davos: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to Davos in Switzerland to participate in the World Economic Forum (WEF). But the Inclusive Development Index report released by the WEF is a matter of concern for India. In the development development index, India is at 62nd in emerging economies. In this case India is far behind China and Pakistan. China is at number 26 and Pakistan is at the 47th position.

The WEF has released this list before its annual summit begins. Norway remains the world's most inclusive modern developed economy. Lithuania is at the top of the emerging economies.
Although the total number of India is at the lower level, but still India is among the ten emerging economies that are growing. Norway, Luxembourg, Switzerland and Denmark top-5 after Norway in developed economies.
The WEF said that in this index, aspects of living tolerance, environment status and protection of debt burden etc. are included. In the WEF annual summit, many world leaders including Prime Minister Narendra Modi and US President Donald Trump are participating.
WEF told world leaders that they should rapidly move towards new models of inclusive growth and development. The forum said that there is a situation of inequality due to increasing dependence on GDP for achieving achievement on the economic front. Let us tell that India was at 60th place in 79 developing economies last year, while China was 15th and Pakistan was 52nd.
Evolution of 103 economies has been assessed in the year 2018 index. This assessment has been done on the basis of three private pillars, growth and development, inclusion and interdisciplinary equity. It is divided into two parts. In the first part, 29 developed economies and the other 74 emerging economies have been included.
In this index, five years of inclusive growth and growth of different countries has been divided into five sub-categories. These categories are phenomenon, gradually occurrence, steady, slow growth or growth.
There are small European countries at the top of the index. Australia is the only non-European country at the ninth place in the top-10. Among the G-7 economies, Germany is 12th, Canada is 17th, France is 18th, Britain is 21st, USA 23rd, Japan 24nd and Italy 27th. Top-5 emerging economies include Lutianna, Hungary, Azerbaijan, Latvia and Poland. In the BRICS countries Russia is ranked 19th, China 26th, Brazil 37th, India 62nd and South Africa at 69th place.
