Big announcement of Nitin Gadkari: Metro bins running on big line
Gadkari thanked the coal and rail minister Piyush Goyal and said, "Its first use is going to happen in Nagpur."

New Delhi: Central Highways and Road Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari today said that there is a plan to run a metro on 'Broadgages' railway line. Nitin Gadkari said that it is expected to be signed between Nagpur Metro and Indian Railways. He said that this was his idea which Railway has approved.
Gadkari thanked the coal and rail minister Piyush Goyal and said, "Its first use is going to happen in Nagpur." He said that on Metro broad gauge railway line this metro will be connected to Nagpur suburban cities like Kotla, Bhandara, Ramtek and Wardha (satellite town).
Gadkari said, "Nagpur Metro and Indian Railways will sign the Memorandum of Understanding after this about Karnataka elections." There will be four bins in this air-conditioned metro and it will run at 100 kilometers per hour.
Gadkari said, "The speed of passenger rail is 60 kilometers per hour, which is 30 kilometers per hour before stopping at the station. It takes time to increase it. That is why I asked them to stop the passenger rail.
