Earlier, the Sensex had witnessed the second consecutive day. In today's trading, the Sensex rose by nearly 180 points to 34,893.20.
The BSE Sensex rose by 179.60 points, or 0.51 percent, to 34,893.20 in the initial trading session, based on the 30-share index of the Bombay Stock Exchange. The Sensex was up 212.33 points yesterday. At the same time, the Nifty of the National Stock Exchange also gained 60 points, or 0.56 percent, to 10,677.80 in the opening round.
