Gold recovers on 31,100; silver falls
In Delhi, 99.9 per cent and 99.5 per cent purity gold dropped by Rs 50-50 per kg to Rs 31,100 and Rs 30,950 per ten gram respectively
New Delhi: Gold prices today rose by Rs 50 to Rs 31,100 per ten grams in the bullion market on the bullion market, despite the fall in gold prices at the global level. Traders said that keeping in view of the wedding season, continuing the purchase of local jewelers, gold prices have seen an upward trend, but a weak trend at the global level has helped keep pace.

Gold prices
fell 0.34 per cent to $ 1333.50 an ounce in Singapore on the global bullion market. Silver, however, weakened 0.35 percent to $ 17.12 an ounce.

Silver prices

Gold and silver prices in today's four metropolitan cities of the country are
22 carat (10 grams per 10 grams), Rs 31,00 in Delhi, Rs 30,075 in Mumbai, Rs 30,950 in Kolkata and gold at Rs 29,040 in Chennai. On the other hand, silver prices were down by Rs 40,070 per kg in Delhi, Rs 39,220 in Mumbai, Rs 39,250 in Kolkata and Rs 42,400 in Chennai.
